Privacy Policy
1. Overview
This website is a static site. It sets no cookies, uses no client-side storage, and loads no third-party resources — fonts and images are served from this domain. There is no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no contact form, no comment function, no newsletter and no social media plug-in.
The only personal data processed when you visit is the access data your browser necessarily transmits, which the hosting provider records in server log files. Everything else on this page describes your rights and the details of that one processing activity.
2. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the GDPR is:
Leo Warnow
Wildbergstraße 18
4040 Linz
AUSTRIA
P: 015128803680
M: web@leowarnow.com
The controller is the natural person or legal entity that single-handedly or jointly with others makes decisions as to the purposes of and resources for the processing of personal data.
A data protection officer has not been appointed; the requirements of Art. 37 GDPR are not met here. For any data protection matter, please use the contact details above.
3. Hosting
External hosting
This website is hosted by an external service provider acting as processor. Personal data recorded on this website is stored on that provider's servers. This concerns the access data described in section 4.
The hosting provider is:
ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich
Inhaber: René Münnich
Hauptstraße 68
02742 Friedersdorf
GERMANY
The servers are located in Germany, so no personal data is transferred to a third country outside the European Economic Area.
The use of a hosting provider is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the secure, fast and reliable presentation of this website.
The hosting provider processes this data only to the extent necessary to fulfil its performance obligations and follows our instructions in this respect. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with the provider.
4. Recording of data on this website
Server log files
The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files, which your browser transmits automatically when you access this website. These are:
- the browser type and version used
- the operating system used
- the referrer URL
- the host name of the accessing computer
- the time of the server request
- the IP address
This data is not merged with data from other sources, and it is not used to identify you personally.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and the security of this website, which requires that server log files be recorded.
Log data is deleted by the hosting provider after seven days at the latest. Data whose further retention is required for evidentiary purposes — for example following an attack on the server infrastructure — is excluded from deletion until the incident has been resolved.
Cookies and other storage
This website uses no cookies. It also uses no local storage, no session storage and no comparable technology that stores information on your terminal equipment or accesses information already stored there. Because nothing is stored on or read from your device, no consent under § 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021) or § 25 of the German Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) is required, and there is no cookie banner.
Analytics and tracking
This website uses no web analytics service, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting and no advertising technology. Your behaviour on this site is not analysed, and no user profiles are created.
Fonts
The typefaces used on this website are stored on our own server and are loaded from this domain. No connection is made to external font providers such as Google Fonts, and no data is transmitted to third parties when a font loads.
Contact by e-mail or telephone
If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, the data you provide — including the contact details you use and any information contained in your message — is stored by us in order to process your enquiry and to deal with any follow-up questions.
Where your enquiry relates to the performance of a contract or to pre-contractual measures, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or, where it has been given, on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
This data remains with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent to its storage, or the purpose for storing it no longer applies. Mandatory statutory retention periods — in particular under tax and commercial law — remain unaffected.
External links
This website links to external sites, for instance to publishers via DOI links, to source-code repositories, and to professional profiles. No data is transmitted to those providers merely because a page containing such a link is displayed; a connection to them is established only when you actively click a link. Once you follow a link, the privacy policy of the site you reach applies. We have no influence over the processing carried out there.
5. General information and mandatory information
Data protection
We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data as confidential and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.
Please note that data transmitted over the internet can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
SSL and TLS encryption
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the
transmission of confidential content. You can recognise an encrypted connection
by the https:// prefix in your browser's address bar and by the
lock symbol. When encryption is active, the data you transmit to this website
cannot be read by third parties.
Storage period
Unless a more specific storage period is stated within this privacy policy, your personal data remains with us until the purpose for processing it no longer applies. If you assert a justified request for deletion or withdraw your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing it — such as statutory retention periods under tax or commercial law — in which case deletion follows once those reasons cease to apply.
No automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
Obligation to provide data
You are under no contractual or statutory obligation to provide personal data in order to use this website. The access data described in section 4 is transmitted automatically by your browser and is technically necessary for the website to be delivered to you.
6. Your rights
You have the following rights in respect of your personal data:
- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR) — to information about the origin, recipients and purposes of the personal data we hold about you, at any time and free of charge.
- Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) — to have inaccurate data corrected and incomplete data completed.
- Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) — to have your data deleted, provided no statutory retention obligation prevents it.
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) — for example while the accuracy of your data is being verified, or where we no longer need the data but you require it in order to assert legal claims.
- Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) — to receive data we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract in a common, machine-readable format, and to have it transmitted to another controller where this is technically feasible.
- Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR) — where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process the data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms.
- Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR) — where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 2.
Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
If you believe your personal data has been processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority for the controller is:
Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde
Barichgasse 40–42
1030 Wien
AUSTRIA
www.dsb.gv.at
You may alternatively lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of the EU Member State in which you are resident or work, or in which the alleged infringement took place. The right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.
7. Changes to this privacy policy
We may update this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements and reflects any change to the services offered on this website — for example if a contact form or embedded media were added later. The version published on this page applies to your visit.
This version dates from July 2026.
